Yes you can use mail() There is a 100 emails an hour limit. Going above this will simply block emails from being sent, along with an admin looking into why you went over(to make sure your not spamming people)

Not sure. I setup a install of centos and could not figure out its installer. You might have some luck if you tried the centos forums, also you could try irc, connect to irc.freenode.net, and join #centos irc://irc.freenode.net/#centos

Your server is online and everything, so i assume a setup script failed to run or somthing(i don't know how thats system is set up) so you'll need to open a ticket(Much faster than posting here as corey and all the paid staff receive a ticket when open one)

When i visit your site i get linked to a co.cc page. Additionally an issue with pages taking forever to load would not usually be due to the server. I see this once in a while, it is usually due to bad DNS entries, bad PHP code, or bad modules/addons in a website.

Phishing is not allowed. We have zero tolerance for it so you will not be unsuspended.

If you set it to use that domain then it might force a redirect.
