I think they beep to let viewers know that somebody is actually doing something on them. Like if they don't beep you're going to miss something somebody typed on it or something. Or they beep for the same reason monitors always explode like they are stuffed with TNT.

I guess you don't have much experience in how it works and I have to agree with zen-r, you have to tell us what country & region this is for, but be careful cos letting everybody know where you live could turn out to be a privacy or even security issue.

The header is as big as the rest of the page and your font is barely visible (being dark and small). If your design idea is to be big just stick to it. You can't have big header and graphics and tiny font size at the same time.

Same here. I use it only when I have to organize something (like reunions or whatever). So my natural choice was Facebook cos everybody are there.

I never used WordPress so I don't actually know how it works. But on the other hand I'm a skilled programmer and web designer and design is design no matter what CMS you use. I guess it won't be a problem for me to make a WordPress template when clients ask for it. I mean how hard could it be?
