Got my emachines E4500 computer at Christmas 2007.
Suppose a lot of it is out of date now, but I've not got a great knowledge of computer hardware to upgrade.
Well your FTP will be
Host: starlight-gaming.co.cc
"Account"
User: alharadm@starlight-gaming.co.cc
Password: the same one you're using.
Account field can be anything.
Did you even bother looking at the link in my last post?
Are you using an FTP client?
I use FileZilla and my settings work - Please refer to my post here >>> http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/96145-ftp.html#post530359
Seeing as this is UNOFFICIAL support where basically it's just normal forum users offering "support" where possible.
What are you trying to log in to Cpanel with?
It should be http://starlight-gaming.co.cc:2082/
User: removed now you said you could get in.
Password: whatever...
As if they don't already have ENOUGH tickets to deal with?
Why should you receive priority over those that haven't been replied to yet that opened their tickets earlier?
I know it's not much fun not being able to see your website, or having to deal with down time. I trust the upper staff...
Login to http://www.x10hosting.com/panel.php and find the link for unsuspension on the right hand side.
You need to remember to login to the forums at least once every two weeks.
Thank you Anna. You are correct with your information. Couldn't have put it better myself - whilst everyone looks into the NEAR future, it's the FAR future that really matters and hence we have to have these problems now. I don't think it's a good excuse but needs must sometimes.
For filazilla, i've got mine set as:
Host: yoursite.subdomain.com
On the drop down box Login type: Account
User: yourcpanelname@yoursite.subdomain.com
Password: Should be same as Cpanel.
Account: This field can be whatever you want.
Hope this helps.
It may just be a server problem cgrim and it will be fix itself BUT, it's bloody wierd. I've just seen the same page saying it's available then on refresh it didn't work.
I'd contact official support, however please be patient waiting for a reply.
If it was working fine before then I imagine it's something on x10hosting's side that's caused it. If I was you, I'd just wait it out even if it is frustrating - I know! Sorry.
I'll try to explain about the PHP.
Basically, at the turn of the year we unveiled the new site (x10hosting.com), with a complete new backend system to make managing accounts and things out the back easier. The process seems to still be on going and before everything was changed there was...
That's only a sub-domain name meaning, that doesn't have anything to do with it.
It's the actual server. You are on absolut and it seems to be up and down a heck of a lot lately as with other servers too.
By that reckoning then, it's the same for cars.
I think it's the same sort of case to be fair.
But at the end of it, no amount of discussion can decide it and it doesn't even matter but could well still be an excellent talking point.
