On Joomla I think you can choose how you want content to be saved. eg: either in files or on the database. If your content was saved on the database just upload the joomla files and put in the right details to connect to the database/user.

Cpanel > phpmyadmin > export > save as a file (i think, similar wording on the box at the bottom - you should tick the tickbox) > Click Go. That's off the top of my head, please confirm you've managed to do it.
