Try using the server localhost instead of an IP address.

Remote MySQL is disabled on free accounts so you can't access MySQL from anywhere but the server itself. If it were enabled, you would have to use port 3306.

You can change your main domain in the account panel. http://x10hosting.com/control/ Your domain has to be set to our nameservers though (ns1.x10hosting & ns2.x10hosting.com)

High resource usage suspensions aren't usually caused by bandwidth usage. They are generally caused by a high CPU or memory usage on the servers. You have unmetered disk space and bandwidth. It shows unlimited but there is no such thing as unlimited disk space.

x10 has changed a lot over the years. I have only noticed the changes since March, 2008 but since then, the forums and main site have changed twice. Before the new homepage layout, my favorite was the blue one in early 2008.
