That can be done with URL rewriting or forcetype in the .htaccess file. e.g. To make .pyp files parse as PHP:

    udp php question

I don't think UDP connections are possible and if they remain open for any extended period of time it will results in a resource usage suspension or will be closed automatically when the script hits the execution time limit.

Saving GD thumbs to directory problem

That is peculiar, mine saves fine into a directory with 755, you could probably change it to 775 and still have it work. Edit: forgot you weren't on x10, sounds like your host has something configured wrong.

    Link exchange for my website

I'd say the original one looked better, almost perfect as the match with Zubair's colour scheme was pretty much spot on. It looked less like an ad and more like a deliberately placed respected link. I guess it's my minimalism that is attracted more to the transparency and monotone.

    Problems with my website

If you have changed it very recently, you need to allow time for the DNS records to propagate. This can take anywhere up to ~72 hours, but it usually takes only a day for most of the servers to update. If the problem persists beyond this time period, then there must have been a misconfiguration...

Saving GD thumbs to directory problem

Does the image output to the browser properly if you uncomment the '//imagejpeg($tn, null, 60);' line? The big question, does the thumbs directory actually exist in the same folder as the test2.php script? If it does then try using a proper full path to it such as: You should also have this at...

    Joomla css and seo problem

I'm not really sure with Joomla, basically the issue will reside wherever the reference to the CSS file is located in the theme file. Set that to a url with a / at the beginning to indicate where the CSS file is in relation to the URL root, rather than the current file.

    Joomla css and seo problem

Does the problem actually persist if you deactivate the SEO mod again? I would guess that the reference to the CSS and image files are all relative, meaning that if the url has been changed then the reference is now pointing to the wrong place.

    Link exchange for my website

The statistics would be derived from the data you collect, so you count the number coming in each day etc. A database is more suited to these more statistical applications, although it is possible with a text file.

    Link exchange for my website

You could have a logging function in PHP that looks at the referrer and if it is from Zubair's site then it'll increment a counter either in a database or text file. That was means there is no special URLs and the counting is done completely invisibly.

    My new Website

The design of the page is OK and gets straight to the point, however I am pretty sure you have done nothing to alter it from the default theme and therefore there isn't really a lot to review. A little deviation from the stock design can go a long way to making your site stand-out from the many...

Suggestion for when servers are down or upgrading

The only way I can think that wouldn't require the DNS to change would be to assign the IP address to a different server whilst the other one is down, but that'd require having a server ready just to accept that IP and send the error pages.

I get the same site when I visit either of those addresses without any form of redirect and definitely not to the x10hosting homepage.

    Project Wonderful?

I'm probably not going to use ads on my site any time soon, but if I did then these companies offer the sort of service I would prefer where I have more control over what exactly goes on my site. The open marketplace system would also allow advertisers to aim their ads very specifically and get...

Can we track a mobile phone with its IMEI?

Nope, not possible. That would be one catastrophic security risk if you could, would you really want anyone knowing where you are at any time of the day?

CRONs not working what ever I do

How often are you setting the Cron jobs to go off at? Remember that the times you put in will be relative to the server time, not necessarily your local time. i.e. I have to put in a time of 19:00 for it to go off at midnight GMT.

    Technology Forum And Arcade

It looks good and doesn't look so much like a template as the other one did. There's a few things here and there that could have a touch up, but in general the colours work well, although the text colour could be a shade darker and the user title bars don't show up. Be careful what you do here...

CRONs not working what ever I do

As far as I can tell, email responses from Cron jobs is currently not active, meaning your cron may be running but you may not be notified. I haven't had an email about my crons since March, yet they are still dutifully running and keeping things updated. If you really need email notification...

    Help me redesign my site

First thing, your page doesn't have a title, it just shows the URL. Having a proper page title will help with SEO as that is what users will see when your site is returned in a search. Other than that, the first page and all of the articles would benefit from some more images to break up the...

    My Website - Please Comment

Aesthetically, there are a few places your site needs some improvement: 1. Link colours: a visited link barely shows up against the background and the default blue links don't fit at all with the rest of the page. 2. Black is a very difficult colour to get right; white or pastel coloured...
