Have you tried turning on or off the cachewall in cPanel? I have no idea if this will make a difference.

I can't duplicate your issue, I went to mydomain.com and was redirected to www.mydomain.com

It's been that way for awhile; the cost of free hosting.

You can use a domain you get from Freenom as long as you can change the name servers to x10's.

Does "telnet xo7.x10hosting.com 465" work from your command prompt or does that timeout?
