How long ago did you apply?

cPanel does not make it but they integrated it into their software. I believe when cPanel updates it overwrites that file, I'm not sure of a solution as we actually don't have control over that either =\ -Corey

If you're switching hosts you'll need to download all the files to your computer. If they're using cPanel there should be a "Backup" option in cPanel that allows you to create a full back which you can then restore here. To backup your databases login to PHPMyAdmin and use the Export feature...
