[Solved] Database Error w/ SMF 2.0 RC3
Problem: Database error when attempting to access a topic
How to recreate: Click on the one topic at http://armyclan.co.cc/forum
Description: When I go into the 1 topic i have in my forum, i get the following error from SMF.
Unknown column...
Confirmed. As long as it doesn't make an immense number of queries on MySQL (Mibbit doesn't, it just links to IRC) it is allowed. Just so I don't get in trouble, I suggest you use irc.x10hosting.com as your server, and #SomethingRelatedToYourWebSiteHere as your channel.
NickNack, the only reason cPanel isn't secure is because x10 doesn't want to pay some "genius" $50/year for something that says its trusted. https://fris.x10hosting.com:2083 IS secure. But if you still don't trust it, http://fris.x10hosting.com:2082 is the Non-Secure panel
As for subdomain...
The servers are currently undergoing a move. All free accounts are getting piled onto the FRIS server, and fris isn't too happy, so things have been breaking. I'm sure that x10 is doing everything they can to fix this
If you're running PHPGallery off MySQL, this is why.
MySQL and PHP aren't getting along too nicely, but I have no clue if the x10 people are fixing it.
PS, yes this is happening to me too with my SMF forum
If you're trying to rant about how bad x10 is, just leave now. Nobody on x10 likes the ranters or trolls. But i'm going to help anyway. X10 has had to move their free accounts recently, most likely due to cost issues. So i suggest you go to http://fris.x10hosting.com:2082 or...
Did you get moved to fris from another server? If this is the case, then you are most likely being restored. But if you can provide your cPanel username, one of the admins can check to see if they are restorable
If you are on a free hosting account, try http://fris.x10hosting.com:2082 or https://fris.x10hosting.com:2083
I'm not sure if lotus has moved yet, but its sure to move soon.
First of all, this message looks like a MySQL database connection, not a cPanel connection. To reset your MySQL User's password, go to your cPanel and click MySQL
Then delete the user you wish to change the password on. Delete it and confirm, then go back to the MySQL panel. Near the bottom...
Hi,
Have you tried resetting your cPanel password in http://x10hosting.com/account This usually solves the problem.
Also, be sure your cPanel username and password are exactly correct, as they ARE case sentitive
Effects and Prevention methods are perfectly fine to post. Exact names (CyberGate), or download locations of Key loggers will result in abuse.
Good Thing to call it: win32/keylogger
Bad thing to call it: Person's Keylogger 2010 Build 41.02 revision 5
Uhm, if you could post a more detailed error message, I could work with you. But just a heads up, I'm getting 500's on any page with a mysql script (everything) So MySQL may be borked
As long as you're not talking about key loggers specifically, and sending out links and names, you SHOULD be fine. But I don't know what the x10 people will think. It actually sounds quite informational.
