I guess that is what you get with free hosting, I am about to just make my desktop a server and just use tk domain and host myself, so I don't need to wait all the time for something minor to be fixed. I have been patient long enough, this happens all the time now more frequently in this year...

Same getting the same error I have no clue how my account switched I had Cpanel 3 for a long time I never made the switch to basic and today it was on basic and won't let me switch it back.

I am also experiencing the same thing I was on Cpanel x3, and just logged in today and now my account is set to basic, and when I switched it gave me a white page with the number 1, did not switch me back to Cpanel X3

Damn... It is free hosting, and there are many more people facing the same downtime. Why complain and bitch?! If you don't like their free hosting find another source for it.... ALL free hosting by the way does upgrade like this, x10hosting is not the only ones, they upgrade to allow more...

That was a thread from when they last did updates However your files are still intact, and no one has hacked your site, the server is migrating, if you can't get on it, neither can a hacker.... migrating can take awhile like propagating a domain. 1-72 hours.... I doubt though it will take 72...

There is NO time scale, migration can take from 1 hour to 72 hours, depending on how the servers wants to act. That is why they can not give a time frame on it, all hosting is this way paid or free. Just got to wait it out.

Did you read the AJAX error at the bottom?! Well to explain it, that is not the correct amount limit, this happens when the severs are being updated.

Your files will be back, this has happened before to me, and everything went back to the way it was before the updates to the server. They are not done updating thus is why you see NO files.

Thank you Bdlistler for the respond, I hope they are able to recover my files, my database was still in tact.

I was just in modifying a file, and everything was going good than major lag came about, and it did not save the changes instead timeout so I logged back in much lag was present, but got to my FTP and ALL my files were gone! How is that possible? Is the server down? Even my domain states error...

This can be closed, it was due to the UPNP being disabled on my router, For those that have or ever get the time out and their IP is not blocked, they should check their router config and enable the UPNP, seems CPANEL uses that. And when it is set on disabled, it throws the timeout error.

Ok I think I know the problem, probably because the router I am on, has UPNP Disabled
