There is a lot of programs out there that implements things from linux into windows. I already seen multiple desktops and 3D cube for windows on sourceforge.
It is a lenovo computer. I had installed windows 7 and formatted them away, but I had to run some battery diagnostic tool that required it. Now it is impossible to uninstall it as the uninstall button does nothing at all.
At my schools internet, I've achieved to get the upload 10 times faster than download once xD (3 mbps down, 30 mbps up). Maybe it's because 200 people use the internet at the same time, but nobody uploads anything?

It's all on the server. A DDoS attack is when someone uses 1000's of computers to connect to the server 1000's of time every seconds. Imagine 20 fat ppl trying to get trough one door at the same time
