It's usually an automated bot that looks for a certain file on your website. If that file exists, it knows how to trick your software into letting it do things like run commands or upload files. Once it can do that, it takes over your whole website and tries to trick your users.

It happens quite a lot. Make sure you change your passwords for x10 and for everywhere else, just in case. It's probably a weakness in your software that let someone upload their own files, but it's hard to tell.

I think Softaculous seems to work a little better because it's preconfigured to work with your account. However, there aren't a lot of clear error messages that give you things to try; usually just a vague reason why it stopped. I would guess that your account is close to running out of disk...

I'm getting the same DNS error now that X15 is back online. If you're having a DNS provider issue, I used Namecheap for their free DNS server and it worked for me. They also are a registrar. I'm not familiar with .ga domains, so I don't know what your options would be.
