Can you try using your CPanel user name and password instead of the one you used there? Also make sure that the url is ftp://nightmarescape.exofire.net port 21. Some clients are picky about having ftp:// in front of the url.

Please check what CPanel lists as your disk space. CPanel controls how much of the disk you can use, the account panel may not be up to date. If you continue to have an issue, please post back and I will as a staff member to assist you further.

I'm sorry, functions cannot be enabled on a per-user basis because of they way PHP and Cpanel work.

Check what CPanel reports as your disk space. I've seen some differences between the account panel and CPanel. CPanel ultimately has control over what you have and do not have.
