    Password Reset Catch-22

I have a dilemma I can't seem to work my way out of. Yesterday morning my primary email provider for over two decades abruptly vanished from the net with no notice or resolution in sight. So then I decided to log in to x10 and I hit the Password Reset screen. Which requires access to that...

    Another "Apache is functioning normally"

OK, it looks like everything is there. Thanks very much! Anna you have been very helpful to me over the years, thanks for everything that you do! Not forgetting Garrett and the rest of the team as well of course. I try to be a low maintenance user but when I need help you have been there.

CPanel Licence Expired on VOX - What now?

Thank you for the reply, Skizzers. It seems that someone woke up, as status updates are being posted now. Good. ATM it says that most 503 errors have been fixed, but mine has not.

CPanel Licence Expired on VOX - What now?

Sorry, guys, none of what you have said changes the issues of marketing and perception. That's what it is all about, IMO, and this is not a good business model. And yes, I have been considering paid hosting ... somewhere. Our group's budget does not support it ATM, so it would have to come out...

CPanel Licence Expired on VOX - What now?

With all due respect, I disagree. It's about marketing and perception. They want people to like the service so much that they upgrade to paid. Having no previous experience with the paid service to use for comparison, one has only the perception created by the free service to go by. If I go to a...

Proudly Served by LiteSpeed Web Server at Port 80 ???

There is a new post in Service Alerts that states they are aware of the problems and are working on it. http://status.x10hosting.com/

Proudly Served by LiteSpeed Web Server at Port 80 ???

Same problem here, and not fixed yet. Apparently this has been going on since at least early Friday morning (USA time). Cpanel works and all my files are where they are supposed to be. Redirecting my domain to the absolute path from the account root is only a partial solution, as my SMF forum is...

My forum not loggin IP addresses (Chopin)

I've read some suggestions in the SMF support forums that this kind of problem can be caused by IPV6. Anyone?

My forum not loggin IP addresses (Chopin)

Any visitor or registered user shows up with an IP of 0.0.0.0 in the Who's Online list. As I mentioned, this behavior only started since Chopin was upgraded. The user profile and forum error log are simply blank in the IP address field. Oddly, the only place that I see actual IP addresses are in...

My forum not loggin IP addresses (Chopin)

This seems to have started around the time Chopin was upgraded. My forum (SMF 1.1.14) has not been able to log IP addresses of visitors. I have changed nothing in the software load or config. No errors showing up in any logs that I can see. Anyone have any ideas?

    Another PHP mail problem

I note that there have been other posts from users with PHP mail problems. I hate to add to the noise, but PHP mail services from my SMF forum have not been working for about the past week. I've been patiently waiting to see if it clears up. Is this being looked at? I'm on chopin. Thanks. Jim

    TOS Question

Yes, descalzo's got the gist of what I am asking. I mean, technically I'm a part of the group and their webmaster, so that's not third party hosting IMO. I just want to make sure I've got it right.
