Sorry, guys, none of what you have said changes the issues of marketing and perception. That's what it is all about, IMO, and this is not a good business model. And yes, I have been considering paid hosting ... somewhere. Our group's budget does not support it ATM, so it would have to come out...

Any visitor or registered user shows up with an IP of 0.0.0.0 in the Who's Online list. As I mentioned, this behavior only started since Chopin was upgraded. This seems to have started around the time Chopin was upgraded. My forum (SMF 1.1.14) has not been able to log IP addresses of visitors. I have changed nothing in the software load or config. No errors showing up in any logs that I can see. Anyone have any ideas?

I note that there have been other posts from users with PHP mail problems. I hate to add to the noise, but PHP mail services from my SMF forum have not been working for about the past week. I've been patiently waiting to see if it clears up. Is this being looked at? I'm on chopin. Thanks. Jim

Yes, descalzo's got the gist of what I am asking. I mean, technically I'm a part of the group and their webmaster, so that's not third party hosting IMO. I just want to make sure I've got it right.
