I have set up an addon domain and it works with the www prefix, but it doesn't work without it, is this a known issue, and how do I fix it?

Nameservers are set right, and it is as perlcl.co.cc not www.perlcl.co.cc when I look at it in Cpanel. Also, fantastico is broken currently, and the Home Icon redirects to index.php in Cpanel, instead of index.html. I am on Lotus.

Sorry, working now!

www.perlcl.co.cc works for me. Try clearing your browser's cache and your DNS cache if that still does not work (google search how to clear DNS cache for your specific operating system).

Fantastico has been replaced with Softalicious. I'm not sure why the link is still there in CPanel, this may be an error, but you can disregard it.

Its working for me now, but it wasn't DNS caching, as using dig with the x10hosting Nameserver got no record without www.
Edit:

If you recently configured the domain, it might be a case of dns propagation, which would explain why it works for some and not for others. It's simply that some dns servers are not updated with the information about the www sub domain.

Changes to dns, such as setting new name servers, can take up to 48 hours to fully settle in.
