I put up some changes to my site page yesterday and now I keep getting redirected to a "I don't have a web site" page. How can I correct this so I can see my account info and the Control Panel?

Hi,

We'll need your account username or domain name in order to take a look.

Jut to correct 1 item first. I can see my web Site that is hosted by x10. I can access the public pages through my bookmarks.

The user name is anthon22 or location is http://anthonys.x10.mx

Problem is that I cannot access my account, the control panel or even sign in on the blog. I had to use another e-mail address to sign up for the x10 community blog so I could post my problem.

Question: Is my account frozen? Have I caused this problem with my site's contents?
I would like to understand what happen as well as get my access back.

thank you.

The site is up, so it is not Suspended.

Sounds like your IP somehow got on the Firewall blacklist -- possibly due to too many failed logins. Or some problem with FTP. It happens every so often.

An Admin will have to check that for you and if that is the case, remove your IP. Please be patient.

Hi Anthony,

Your IP address doesn't actually seem to have been blocked by our firewall, so I'm not so sure what might be going on here.

At what URL are you getting the "I don't have a web site" error message? :)

Thank you,

this is best as I can explain: Starting at x10 hosting.com
Go through x10hosting/ss/main to sign in
Page is Redirected to
X10hosting.com/2083/cpsess480054370/frontend/basic/index.live.php
Tab “My Websites”
(This page informs me that “You don’t have any websites added. Create one and begin your online presence today!”)
This was usually the step where I was at the control panel where I could upload or Download files, access my account or other.

After much playing around today I found a way to get to the control panel (at least once) but I can still not access my account information.
At the page X10hosting.com/0283/cpsess480054370/frontend/basic/index.live.php
I change the tab to “Domains”
Under the column Domain I have my site’s Domain link “anthonys.x10.mx”
Under that there is a Home icon/public_html/ link.

When clicking that link the cotrol panels opens “cPanel File Manger v3”
This will work but something did change.

I hope this info helps the diagnostics.
so you let me know what is happening.

Thanks

Hi Anthony,

On our x10Hosting Basic control panel, your files are separated by different "websites". You can add a "website" by clicking "Add New Website" in the top-right corner, and this should reveal the normal options to you, without losing any files you have previously uploaded.

Did you have a "website" setup in our x10Hosting Basic control panel originally? :)

Thank you,

I was not wanting to add another web site just update the site that I set up. The fact that I am not able to log in to my account information is a problem for me. The fact that I had to use another e-mail address to post here when I already had an account seems like something is wrong. I was not able to log in to the forum with my original ID & password so I had to create a new one.

You can get to your existing files, etc., using the "cPanel X" option; the x10Hosting Basic control panel tries to simplify things for inexperienced users, but it doesn't (always) recognize projects that weren't created through it. As for the forum account, you should be able to get in using the "get support" option - or you can link this current forum account to your hosting account.
