Cannot connect to server via FTP

Hello ,

I have some problems connecting to my server through ftp client.My user is right but when it comes to password it says 530 login authentication failed. I have tried it many times and i know my password is ok.
Please Help me.

Hello,

Please ensure you are using your domain name as the FTP host, and using your cPanel username/password as the username/password. You should also be using Port 21.

Same error :

Response: 220 You will be disconnected after 2 minutes of inactivity.
Command: USER something
Response: 331 User something OK. Password required
Command: PASS **********
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

Ok got it when I do it using cPanel username & password all goes ok but when it comes to a ftp account which i created using cpanel it would not login? Any way to fix it?

an ftp account that you created in cpanel would be in the form: username@maindomain.x10.mx

The @maindomain.x10.mx being very important
