Hi folks--

I'm a newb, admittedly, so bear with me:

After initially uploading files to create my website, I want to go back in and make revisions. To do so, I would like very much to use FileZilla, which I have used in the past. Problem is--I can't log in using FileZilla! I always get "user authentication failed." Any ideas?

Thank you kindly--

Martin

Are you using your cPanel log-in information to log in with FireZilla?

And are you able to log in to your cPanel fine?

You should be able to use filezilla just fine. Just use your cPanel login details and your main domain as host. Port is 21.

Seeing as you have your own domain set as main domain, I went to check to what IP it resolves and it does look to me as the domain does NOT point to the server you are located on.

When you configured the domain at your registrar did you configure it to use our name servers? If not that would be recommended, they are ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com

Aha!

Corrected the server names and everything is working nicely!

Thanks, folks!
