Can't use my FTP account

Hi, Everyone.I have a .co.cc domain as my main domain. .co.cc is gone. Now I added a parked domain with my new domain (a dot.tk domain). The problem is that i can't use my FTP account because is associated with my main domain and CPanel doesn't allow me to create a new FTP account with my dot.tk account. Now i can't update my webpage because i can't use my FTP Account. My Webpage creator tells me that it can't connect to FTP Account and so does Cyberduck. ¿How can i solve that problem?. Help me please. Thank You.

You should start a new thread (post) with a 'subject' line like --> "Need to replace my account's main .co.cc domain"

a Admin might see it and change it for you

As for FTP try to use your servers IP in place of your domain for the host

@hbazer - That isn't necessary.

@usjoseyoga53 - You should be able to use your new .tk domain as the FTP host name. You need to use your cPanel username and password as the FTP user/pass.

Quick note, if you have an ftp account created in cpanel under the form "user@domain.co.cc", that user would still be valid for your account regardless of co.cc no longer functioning, you would however need to use your parked .tk domain as host (or server.x10hosting.com where server in your case would be: absolut).

Since the co.cc no longer works, you can chose a subdomain under the free ones we provide to be your new main domain (we do no longer allow putting a third party domain as main, reason being to avoid cases like yours with co.cc going dead).

We currently offer: .elementfx.com, .x10.mx and .x10.bz domains. Once you have chosen which one you'd want I'll alert someone that can set the new main domain for you. Do note that in this case the ftp user you created in cpanel would changed to the chosen domain, like "user@newdomain.x10.mx" if you'd chose the domain "newdomain.x10.mx" to be your main domain.

I put my Cpanel credentials under FTP account but that doesn't work.

Anna, i would like to choose then the .x10.mx option for my main domain and have a .x10.mx FTP account, ¿How can i do that?. Thank you for your answer.
