Yes I know that we aren't allowed to use chat scripts... I'm guessing thats because of all the mysql queries that must be processed?

SO.....


I have the ability to host my mysl database in a place that is not x10. So the question is: If I host my mysql database of the x10 network may I use a chat script?

I'm gonna escalate this to get an answer from one of the admins. Chances are the constant calls to that server would cause the resource usage to go high though.

You can't, as you cannot access remote mySQL databases for security reasons and to stop abuse
