My domain name is through GoDaddy, but I can't edit my Zone File with them because my registrar is not with them? Do I need to edit the CNAME from x10? If so, how do I do it?

Thank you for your help!

If you bought your domain from Godaddy, then they are your registrar. The zone file is owned by whichever authoritative DNS name servers that your domain are set to

If you're using ns1. and ns2.x10hosting.com, then you would make the CNAME record through us.

I have the same issue (user: cositasd).
I am using ns1. and ns2.x10hosting.com and I need to change the CNAME of my subdomain: blog.cositasdetrapo.com to point to domains.tumblr.com. Can I edit it myself (not clear how and if I can do it) or does a staff member need to do it?
Thanks

Hi cositasd,

You can change this within cPanel. However, this feature is only available from our cPanel x3, and not from our simplified Basic theme. Please switch to cPanel x3 when doing this, by selecting "Switch Theme" in the top right corner of your cPanel. Once you have switched, please navigate to the Advanced DNS Editor, where you can specify CNAME entries for your domain. :)

Thank you,
