CPanel port

Hi all,

My school blocks access on the 2082 port on their wifi network. Is there a way I can change what port my CPanel uses so that I can login from the school, or will I have to leave school every time I want to get to my CPanel? :sad:

I guess I should go see if I can suggest this and if it would be implemented some time in the future... I know it can be done on other sites....

Are you at a college or something? Most colleges don't have any restrictions on their networks.

Yes, and unfortunately mine does have restrictions. They said it's because they don't want people hosting websites out of their dorms rooms.

Yes they do. I've seen this issue a lot of times before. My school does block it too.

If a school has a network proxy or any filtering software, all ports except 80 and 443 is blocked by default.
