database error. unable to connect to database. could not connect to MYSQL

Hello there, i have been without my website for over a week now,and this is my business website and i am losing business as nobody can view my website for all my services. can you please advise what is happening and why it is still not responding/working asap.it is vital for this to work.. many thanks
