No. Keep in mind that this isn't like having files on your own computer or your own drive partition; there are thousands of other users writing to disk, so the chances are pretty good that any disk space "recovered" by your deletions is already in use. There is a reason why the Terms of Service make backups your responsibility, and why it is never advisable to have only one copy of anything important anywhere. (The saying goes something like this: anything that doesn't exist in at least three physically separate places doesn't really exist at all.) Backups are maintained, but only for server-wide disaster recovery. There is no easy way to recover an individual user's files.
