Error Establishing Database Connection

Hey guys. I just tried to go to my site and and I get "Error establishing Data Base Connection" I haven't touched the site in weeks. How did it suddenly "break"? I have no clue how to fix it either unfortunately.

The first place you should always check is the service alerts forum. MySQL and cPanel have been undergoing upgrades, and Lotus and Chopin have been having teething troubles.

check your config file, the host should be 'localhost' while it previously may have worked with mysql-servername.x10hosting.com as well.

Ok. Will check, but I can't login via ftp

Ok. I just changed it via the file manager in cpanel. Thanks for the help.

What error are you getting from FTP?
