Google adsense works that way. It takes what the website is about and advertises that. If the website is about hosting, it will advertise hosting. If the website is about games, it will advertise about games

Can the admins not say "Do not advertise this category". I think advertising the competition is not a smart thing to do. :dunno:

No because then the ads will become irrelevant

What about advertising web design products or services?

I know they dont really have a choice. I just think its a bad idea...

x10 does not intend to advertise any other host intentionally, if it comes up in an ad that is displayed at random, there's nothing much they can do about it is there?

Im not sure as ive never used adsence. However, on other PPC schemes I have used, the provider allowed me to "blacklist" certain categorys.

Just don't mind them. they aren't that big of a hassle to me.

They don't bother me either, but if your getting frustrated about stoli then there is a huge banner advertising a "great" hosting service...

And another thing, its agaisnt the rules to advertise other hosts .
