Hi, and welcome to the x10Hosting forums. In response to your original question, there is a definite way to define your own landing (or index) page of your website, without having to delete any files. You can go about doing that by editing your .htaccess file, which is only accessible when you are showing hidden files. Add the following text into your .htaccess file:

DirectoryIndex index.php index.html

Basically, that sets your landing page to index.php, and goes to index.html if and only if index.php cannot be found. You can remove index.html all together if you choose to display a 404 error page instead.

there are going to be errors popping up still for a few days as Corey said they are still working on the servers until early this week.

Just a heads up is all since I am sure that the Staff is once again flooded with tickets and it will take them some time to answer the support tickets submitted
