I'm stumped for the last 5, but I'll post them if they come to mind. Maybe someone else can answer?

estonia, lithuania, latvia for three
Edit:
lol, I got curious and just looked up the last two, so I can't answer, but someone else will get them.

Anyway, for the next question:
What is the official language of the Democratic Republic of Congo?
(it's not too hard)

alright, maybe this is going to be too vague, but I'll give it a try.

On which Japanese island in the pacific was one of the bloodiest battles in WW2 fought between the attacking Americans and the entrenched Japanese? Hint: Feb. 23 1945

I'll hazard a guess and say Midway

close, but nope. This island is less than 2 miles long and half a mile wide. Despite that fact, it took over a week from the landing time before the Americans wiped out the Japs.

in a way yes, in a way no. Everyone knows Iwo Jima was where the marines raised the flag during WWII, but probably very few know that it was a bloody battle. I didn't know.

What country extends the furthest south. Antartica is not the answer I am looking for.

Chile is correct.

There was a question early that no-one has attempted, about what is the official language of the Democratic Republic of Congo. I'm gonna say French.

I have a question that is not really Geography or History, but I'll ask it anyway.

What album is my avatar the cover of?

your guess is as good as mine.

Ummm, let's go into computer geography.
What does my avatar represent?

I know what album cover my Av is. So I have no guess in the matter.

As for the Penguin, I could say Antarctica, but I don't think that is what you mean by computer geography. SoOme kind of corporate logo maybe. No idea really, but I get the feeling I've seen it somewhere before.

I'm 100% certain you've seen it before. You're on the right track when you guessed some kind of corporate logo. Though it's not a corporation. Maybe an organization. Google it and see what you come up with.
I'm still clueless as to where you avatar comes from. After this, we'll need to put our heads together and figure out what zen-r's logo stands for. I think it represents his father but I'm not sure.

Yep, it's the linux logo. You never used linux? You'll have to give it a try.

I've never heard of that album, so I guess it's a good think you told me. hehe

since you guessed the logo, you go next. I'm all ears.

Somewhat before ichwar's time, methinks!

Pretty weird now, but it blended in quite nicely with all the other weird stuff of the time.

I didn't guess it right. Your avatar was too small & I thought it was a man with baked beans or vomit over his head & shoulders!

Hehe. All the clues are there, in my username & sig. It might help if you knew a little about electronics. :)
