Hosting Account Space Upgrade

Requesting an upgrade; I had just deleted some files to free some space and I found the disk space upgrade thread that was stickied. How do we go about this? Thanks in advance.

The 'sticky' you read has the information on how to receive a amount of disk space (quota) upgrade for your account

IMO the Admins are working on the migration and upgrade issues - when those are resolved - they will look at your request

I am unable to approve your upgrade request as your site is password protected and I have no clue what you are hosting which is using up half the space. Please elaborate what you are using your site for.

Its not password protected, that is just the admin back login. I offer computer services to my local community and my site allows customers to book an appointment in advance, etc. The largest part of the space being taken up is appearing to be my backup, but when i view it, is only about 30mbs, yet states that it is using over 300mbs just for softacoulous backups.

Sorry for the delay in a response.As the majority of your space is used for backups, I cannot upgrade your account at this time, sorry. We don't allow users to use our web hosting for backups, and encourage users to download the backups rather than store them on the account:

File Storage: Accounts are not to be used for file storage, your account will be permenantly suspended if found to be breaking this rule. Downloads are only allowed on your x10Hosting account if they have to do directly with your website. e.g. you developed custom software and are selling it or giving it away. Accounts may not be used for mirrors, game file hosting, or any other type of file hosting not specified here.

You need to have a valid website that follows our Terms of Service; and,

See if you would look at my recent activity, i am not storing any backups as they are deleted almost everyday after downloading them, i cant do much if softocoulous is taking up a majority of my space because of backups...

AFTER you down-load the backup files from the folder [ softaculous_backups ] delete the files - but keep the folder
You can set Softaculous to 'not make' backups

i do that everyday as i mentioned already, and this is the result, most of the time its around 440mb.

Never the less I set your account to the 1gb limit that it actually should have had to begin with.
