2gb for my working computer.
8gb for my test webserver.
should be good enough.

another good question would be what type of ram (DDR2/DDR3)

8GB is nothing compared to 32GB, which a friend of mine has

32GB is pretty much impossible, maximum is 8GB. 2GB RAM sticks is maximum you can purchase, and the most RAM slots gaming computer has is 4. So 4 times 2 is 8GB.

it is very possible but only with pc's that support samsungs 8GB FB-DIMM RAM sticks

very doubtfull that his friend has one but not impossible
plus saying your friend has this and that, could be a lie but don't flame me about it im just stating it

2GB itself is really more than Vista needs, and 2GB is enough to handle most games without a problem. The key to slowness is 1) Aero and 2) Hard drive speed.

Everyone wants to upgrade!
My dad even wants to upgrade, after seeing what the new ram did to my computer!

I want more, but my motherboard won't support any more than 2gb.
I'm upgrading my motherboard soon :D

I currently have 1GB of DDR2 RAM (667Mhz) on my PC Rig now. But I need an upgrade fast. These aren't enough 'cause I just need the extra edge. Maybe an extra 1GB and more for my video card will do.
