I received this email today:
"We are sending you this email to remind you to visit the x10Hosting Account Portal.
Visiting the Account Portal once per month is a requirement to keep your hosting account active.
All that we require is that you access the portal while authenticated.
The portal may be accessed here: https://x10hosting.com/portal/
We offer account upgrades that remove the portal inactivity requirement for just over a penny per day. More information here: https://x10hosting.com/portal/?upgrade
Sincerely,
x10Hostin"

I am already prime and it says so on my cPanel so why am I getting this notice?

@lindercr Your prime expired in November last year.
@conceptl Your prime expired in August last year.

I'll see if I can correct this for both of you so the system reflects this fully for you as well.

Thread moved so you both can see the answer when the forums also realize that you do not have an active prime upgrade.

Why are the prime badges still under their accounts if it has already expired? Wouldn't that cause some confusion?

Because as Anna noted above, the forum software doesn't "know" that their Prime accounts have expired. Different databases; not always in sync (and turning Prime status in the forums ON is much higher priority than turning it OFF, since there may be a short hiatus between expiration and renewal).

I paid last year and when I go to my cPanel it says I am a prime member... if this wasn't so then why am I just getting a notice in email now?

UNIX timestamp has a limit to the time. It can go as low as 1970, January the 1st.
It looks like the due date is partially correct as it adds by one to the year, though it's displaying the wrong day, month and year.
