Is using LiveZilla allowed?

I believe so, I've saw many sites hosted here who uses it. I think it's allowed because the actual serving for it comes from your computer.

LiveZilla is not permitted if you are using MySQL in conjunction with it. You will be suspended for high system resource usage if you do so because of the immense number of MySQL queries it uses.

It is not allowed. No shoutboxes or chats are allowed, doesn't matter if they are file chats or mySQL chats, they are still using up a lot of resources

I thought that's what you were using on your site? That's why I told him it was okay. Maybe you're using a different setup?

Vigge, it really doesn't use any resources. Just one connection to a home computer.

I'll do a stress test at my house to see how much it uses.

That's what I was thinking. It really doesn't. That connection probably doesn't even use the server.

It writes and checks the file same way it connects to the mySQL server, that's what I got told by the admins

The highest load I got during my test was:

Load high of 1.06 -

four consecutive chats,
flat file database,
1 file being uploaded from internal (support tech).
