Hi,
I'm trying to add an existing domain as an addon domain here. I added the A Record in my registrar's DNS Management. Now, i'm trying to add that domain to addon domain list. But an error is displayed asking me to add nameservers at the registrar. I'm using webmail service from the registrar. So, i want to use A Records only. Please help me in solving the issue.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

You can only add the domain here after having set the name servers of the domain to be those of ours (ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com). You can however change back to those of your registrar after you added the domain and set an A record at the registrar, with this option though you need to update the settings at your registrar at the event of your account being switched to a new IP for any reason (rare though).

Hi Anna,
I added the nameservers at the registrar, now was able to add the domain in addon list. But, the domain is still not loading up yet. Should i only use A records in order to use the webmail service from registrar? Doesn't adding MX records with x10's Nameservers do the work?

Hi mreccentric,

Which domain name is this? The addon domain that is attached to your account is loaded fine for me. If you're still having issues loading it, please try clearing your cache and flushing your DNS. ;)

Thank you,
