I am willing to help out but thought that I might be like the 100th reply to this message, but 89-95% of the posts in here are from people in America and since my timezone is way different to America and the UK then I still have a chance. Anything for this lovely host... ;)

Count on me too. In fact, RIGHT NOW the thing seems to be down. I was uploading stuff just fine 15 minutes ago, and then it died on me.

Nah, I got backups of everything. And worst case scenario it's a rather small site anyway, I can upload it all again if things went haywire.

Everytime I make a back-up the .gz file is always like 100 - 120MB in size, dont really know why, my site is just loaded with a few unused scripts that take a while for me to delete and cannot be bothered at times until my ISP fixes their connections and my connection gets faster.

I made a script to check if http is on every 5 minutes(using cron, can be changed). To ensure it isnt some wierd problem it has to fail 5 times, then it emails me(can add u, of course) that it is down. The script isnt hosted on x10hosting because if x10hosting goes down the script is rendered useless. if u want the script to be on the bussiness server or something then private message me...?

Am on +8 time zone.

TarinC you suggestion is best. A script that monitors and sends email if there's a problem. So Corey can get the email on the handphone. In that way, all is automated. No need for people to be calling Corey at 3 am in the morning.
