Forgot to turn off my VPN while logging into my cPanel. Account has been suspended. Lost all my files and didn't get a backup.
Any change I could get it unsuspended or at least get the files back? I really didn't mean to use the proxy.

Hi,

Unfortunately we cannot handle suspension-related inquiries through this support area. Please create an appeal from your control panel if you feel the suspension is in error: https://x10hosting.com/sso/login

Thank you,

I doubt it will get accepted since it's against the ToS to use a proxy. I just forgot to turn off my VPN.
Oh well, I'll give it a try.

Against the TOS to sign up with a proxy.
Against the TOS to set up a proxy on your account.

Doesn't seem to be against the TOS to access your own account via proxy. Can an Admin correct me if I am wrong?

Perhaps the suspension was for another reason.

You are correct, Angus.

I can confirm the suspension was not for accessing the account with a Proxy.

Well, it shows the reason I was suspended for was "Administrative suspension. (azmwvyrnce9xjl9oo7ubnh)", nothing else.
Also, I'm pretty sure it was because I was accessing my account via a proxy. Because the site has been there for weeks and I never got any problems with it. I also didn't update anything on the site while I was on the account. It was the first time I accessed my account while my proxy was on, and suddenly after a few minutes I got a suspension.
I already filed an appeal anyway, they just have to review it yet.

That could be a suspension ID. From what I've picked up on this thread, you only logged on using a proxy so that can't possibly be a violation (as it doesn't show in the ToS) but what do we know? Hopefully it was just a mistake.

Yes... this was not a suspension because of your use of a proxy to access the account...

Unfortunately the appeal has resulted in a zero tolerance suspension due to the nature of the content on the account (not the use of a proxy).

Suspensions with Suspension IDs are automatically done as part of our abuse scanning process, which is automated. Suspensions are double-checked at time of appeal.
