I'm having the same problem - After validating my credentials it reports the redirect is taking "longer than usual" :-(

I'm hoping it's a temporary glitch, but just in case: Does anyone know the direct link to cPanel login?

Thanks!

Thx bdlister.
No, Port 2083 is not blocked by any firewall that I'm aware of (but, I'll check just to be prudent :)

Login and redirection to Cpanel works fine using Safari browser - BUT Safari reports the Security Certificate for x10Hosting cannot be trusted

Could the problem w/ cpanel when using Firefox be related to the trustworthiness of your Security Certificate?

Just curious. Thanks.

I checked Vox's SSL certificate and it looks perfectly normal. The expiry date is fine, and the issuer is AlphaSSL - what exactly is the problem reported with the SSL certificate?

A screenshot of the report/warning would be ideal.

I can login but not able to redirect to cpanel.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?

I have been getting the same error message...

Your request is taking longer than usual to process..
I have tried 2 different computers on different ISPs.
-- Windows XP using IE 8 on Comcast broadband
-- Windows 7 using IE 9 on Earthlink dial-up
Both get the same error message and are unable to get to the cpanel.

I have been having this problem for about 2 weeks. What has changed in the last 2 weeks? I made no changes to my computers.

Using a different (non IE) browser is not an option.
As far as I can tell port 2083 is not blocked.

Why isn't using Chrome/Firefox instead of IE an option?

We haven't changed any code on our end, therefore it's not an issue with our software. On top of that, no one on staff is able to reproduce this issue.

I'd honestly recommend switching completely to Chrome or Firefox. Internet Explorer has a bad reputation, and really isn't a good browser.

What version of IE are they using? Please make sure they trying it on version 8 and/or 9.

I have tested 3 more computers running Windows and IE (1 with IE8 and 2 with IE9)... none were able to log on to the cPanel.

That's a total of 5 machines I've tested. Two are mine, 3 are unrelated and belong to other people. The only things they have in common is that they all run IE 8 or 9 and they all are unable to access your cPanel.

We haven't changed any code on our end, therefore it's not an issue with our software
Are you sure that on, or shortly after, Feb 25th (the last time I successfully logged in) something wasn't changed?

Maybe someone updated some of the HTML, Style Sheets or Javascript. Possibly getting rid of some of the old outdated and deprecated HTML tags and attributes? Or possibly some new Javascript, or Javascript that is browser specific? Some of the newer features of the codes may not be supported by the older browsers, they still need that deprecated code.

I see that the log-in page tests for IE browsers earlier than version 7 and uses separate code if true. Maybe you also need something like that for IE 8 and 9.

Are you seeing anything appear in IE's JavaScript console? (F12)

I actually isolated the issue last night. It's a *very* strange browser quirk with the console object. This should be patched today.

If I do an F12 and then go to the "Script" tab and click on "Start debugging" the page refreshes, I get logged in successfully and then redirected to my cPanel. Right now that is the only way I can get to cPanel.

Hopefully the "strange browser quirk" that leafypiggy found will fix this.

I hate to butt in here, but can someone please provide the link for the live web chat? The mirc does not seem to be working.

irc.x10hosting.com:6667 in your IRC client or click here for a web client. :)

Though now that I look around, it looks like the link for the IRC has been hidden since upgrading to XenForo. :(
