Opera seems to process pages faster that Firefox. It has server connections number option in the preferences. With 128 connections it opens complex pages much faster. Several fractions of a second ahead of FF
Fire fox is the best in my mind by far.
but i dont really know anything about opera.
but i would choose anything over IE. ugh. ie has problems and needs to be destroyed. lol
Firefox is more complete than Opera, and unlike IE, well, it does not crash every 5 minutes, so i don't know why I wouldn't choose the browser that works the best. go Firefox
I'll rarely recommend a specific piece of software but Firefox is something I'm actually pushing people to at least try. Beats the pants off of IE.
I'm also under the impression that Firefox is 100% W3C compliant where as IE isn't and uses their own proprietary technologies like CSS behaviors, which is why some pages don't display properly in Firefox.
Sure I answered this, but hey... Must have been one of the many IE vs Firefox (vs Opera) threads
Did use Opera (and still do on laptop), but IE7 on this PC with Vista. That and the IE7pro plug in.
