myx10, rendering in 1024 your hmenu drops the last li to the next line.

padding:4px 17px;
will assist but ul wiill need centering

Yes the about menu is been displayed on next line

Simple and minimalistic design is just the right thing for this kind of sites and you did it well. The only think you should change is the header (with or without a logo).

Pop-up message on the first page is something you should think twice before making it. If you did thought about it then OK, if you didn't please consider all the pros and cons of that kind of advertising cos if could make more harm then good is some situations.
