phpmailer problem

I am currently facing following error

SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection timed out (110)
The following From address failed: mymailaccount@yahoo.com

is there any firewall blocking it because the page seems to work otherwise.

I have the same problem. My code worked fine until a month ago. Now It work only from localweb (easyphp) so iI have to conclude that the problem is x10hosting

You did not tell us anything as to how you receive this error - like was it a PHP script in your free-hosting account....

I assume you are trying to run a PHP script from your x10hosting's free-hosting account
for SMTP:
The [ From: ] address must be a valid Email address in your x10hosting's free-hosting account - one that you added to your account

As far as I am aware, we do not allow you to use an external service's SMTP on free hosting.

Dead-i is correct. No external SMTP. All outgoing email must pass through our email server to be scanned for spam, phishing, etc.
