Problem display PHP

Hello,

I'm designing a website and I'd need some help for the section "comments" which use a PHP script and database.
When I write and send a text on the website, all the ' and " are replaced by \' and \".
Here's an example. If I write It's "thursday" today, here's what I get: It\'s \"thursday\" today.

Do you know where it's coming from?
