Yeah sometimes servers will lag out, trying another server will usually fix it.

Seriously, its damn cheap. 4mbps is $50 here, u know.
Had I been in america, my dad would have got 2000mbps line for the price he is paying here. U know what, my max speed is only 24mbps.

I pay $11. I'm on a 3G connection of BSNL.

---------- Post added at 04:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:35 PM ----------

compared to techairlines, mine is cheap. speed nearly similar and difference is of $19

ADD: And why in schools upload speed is greater than download speed. Do they have any special connection?

Speed in US sucks and are extremely expensive, I heard. Had a friend paying $150 for a 100mbps plan over there. Internet is basically almost free in Sweden if you don't care about speed.

Well, I too have a bsnl 3g connection on my htc hd2. but i rarely get above 1 mbps. so i prefer my wired connection.

Schools usually have symmetric connections where download and upload have same bandwidth. Teachers usually download educational stuff more than they actually upload. Thatz why the uplink remains mostly free. :)

and one more thing snshusat. u bsnl 3g speed is seriously more than mine. sometime mine gets so slow that i have to disconnect my comp n use opera mini instead.

I'm not really sure why my school has a greater upload speed than download and also why we're our own ISP.

The connection is shared across the whole building so the actual speed for each person is much less, though still impressive compared to the connection I have at home.

I used to pay 25 dollars a month for 1 mbps DL /0.3 mbps UL. That was pretty expensive.
