Hello,

I must change my e-mail address @computer.org to @gmail.com, as the first one will disappear in a couple of weeks. However when trying to do it I get the following message:
"The email address supplied is already in use."

This is probably caused by a wrong operation that I've done in the past (maybe during my registration).

Could you fix it for me?
Many thanks for your help!

What is the full e-mail address you are trying to change to? If you provide that we can check to see if it is in use and if so for what account.

Yes, appears as that is in the system already, tied in with a client account listed as having no attached forum and no hosting, so not sure why. Failed sign-up at some point perhaps (e-mail is unconfirmed).

Since it had no services attached to that client account, I simply removed the e-mail from it. You should be able to set it for your account now.

Hi Anna,

Thank you for your quick reaction!

Unfortunately the situation has not changed: I still get "The email address supplied is already in use."
Could you investigate further, or just manually change my e-mail address?

Strangely enough, updates to this forum thread are sent to my "@gmail.com" address already although my "Account Management Panel" still shows the "@computer.org" one. Could it be the reason why I get the "already in use" message?

Not sure what went wrong when I tried to sort it the first time, because when I checked now, I still got a hit in the system for your @gmail.com address.

I have changed the e-mail address for you now.
