I'm assuming by that you mean that the files are below 10MB?

Perhaps they didn't check your site? I don't have those kind of privileges so I can't check why it didn't end up getting removed for sure.

Hi,

Files exceeding 10MB are automatically removed. I have checked your account, and there are no files exceeding 10MB. :)

Thank you,

You can request for "unlimited" disk space if your account is older than 7 days, is at least 50% full, and complies with the ToS.

thats good to know.
I joined in Dec 2, 2012

but if the file uploads are still capped @ 10MB, then that would be like using
a Ferrari,with a 1 Liter Petrol Tank .
Imagine Youtube, or Vimeo ,Capping their Video uploads @ 10mb
While providing Unlimited disk space ? .

.

There is also a media total cap of 512MB. The whole point of the restriction is to avoid becoming YouTube/Vimeo/Imgur/Flickr/etc. Not only does that vastly increase the hardware requirements, it comes with guaranteed copyright problems and the staff requirements to police them. Note that there aren't ads forced on you to pay for the administration. If you want or need more, there is a paid service available that does not have the restrictions, but that does make administering the system cost-effective.

then that would be like using

if you paid for a [ 2015 Ferrari 458 ] - you would have about a 86 Liter "petrol tank"
BUT
this is "FREE" hosting not paid for by you or advertisements - you get what you pay for...

Imagine Youtube, or Vimeo ,Capping their Video uploads @ 10mb
and that is where you should 'store' you videos for your x10hosting's free-hosting Web site - then link to them
