Want to add cname record. Please help.

I want to add a cname record as i own a hosting account at x10hosting and domain at godaddy.com

But as i am a free user, i cannot do that using cPanel. I came to know that it can be done using the HTML way and upload it to my root directory.

Please let me know on how to do that.

Hello, you can edit cname records in cPanel now.

Actually I think he's on a server that were reverted back due to issues (Lotus), not sure if Corey made another go on upgrading.

If you don't have the option in your cPanel, just let us know what you want set and we'll sort it for you. Remember that the sub domain should NOT be added in cPanel.
