I use net in my collage

It has 2 x 50Mbps lines and 1 x 125mbps line and a 20mbps line

Wow, the pings are horrible, but it sounds like your college might have Fiber optic there.

It's usually about a third this speed, wonder why it's so fast... well, guess i'll enjoy the speed while I can!

Isn't Cox doing the same thing that Comcast is doing with PowerBoost or what Optimum Online is doing with their Boost! service?

Download Speed: 4881 kbps (610.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 267 kbps (33.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

Speeds vary from where you test it to. I usually get 600 kB/s download speed, and 100 kB/s upload speed. I used to get like 240 kB/s download, and 60 kB/s upload, but it suddenly went up.. I'm not complaining ;)

Yeah, schools seems to have the better connections. Now if they could offer that to us locals, without charging us an arm, leg, head and whatever may be left over ... I'd go for it. :)

nah my school has 512 kb download when only used on one :eek4:
