x10hosting isnt free?

Now it has an error and x10hosting is spamming pictures on my forums to upgrade to pro I get an email it said I got to upgrade to pro..and my free hosting has expired...what the hell is with this? :mad:

Your images are hosted @ photobucket and you've reached photobucket bandwidth limit. It has nothing to do with x10. You should move your images to your x10 account to prevent this from happening.

I only know 3 images hosted by photbucket and my members use them my theme doesnt use "photobucket images" so how can it be? :\ So the photobucket max images is 3? :\

I don't think the number of images is the issue, but rather how often they are downloaded (which is each time someone view your forum) and how much bandwidth you are using for them.

No mate You can Upload As many images to Photobucket But they have some bandwidth Limit which Your Forum Images Are crossed...But You can Host Those Images to any other image hosting site like tinypic etc etc...

Why not go to Photobucket & read their Terms of Service, like you should have done if/ when you signed up with them?

There is plenty of info about bandwidth allowance there.

Are the images actually coming from your own account, or have you leached them direct from someone else's Photobucket account? - I just thought I'd check this with you.

You shouldn't make "spamming" accusations like this at x10 unless you have checked out the facts before-hand, & actually know what you are talking about. You then have the cheek to ask staff to do your work for you, & build your website for you! :lol: This is a free service, you know. If you can't do something, LEARN, or at least ask for help - but don't expect others to do it for you.

Also, this should get moved to the Support section, because clearly you aren't here to give Feedback & Suggestions.

Edit : just read your last post. You're really pushing your luck now. Why don't you close your account (please) & go somewhere else?

A staff member is NOT going to access your website, transfer the pictures from photobucket across, and wipe your bottom for you. If you ask for help nicely, and at least show SOME interest, you'll have a better response. If you come here whining like a baby saying "I can't do it!", then you'll get this sort of response.

Treat it as a learning experience and ask for help by all means. Your hosting account is YOUR responsibility. Deal with it or find the door. Instead of "Can someone else do it" why not "Can someone else please help me figure out how to do it?". Come on. Grow up a little...

I meant to fix the images the images i have on there I requested someone to make them for me off forumpromotion thanks for asking? I dont copy others peoples ideas im not as immature and childish as some people..

to gain access to the images on photobucket, you'd have to go to their site and see if you can find someone who will unlock them for you. We can not get the images of your account there.

Once you have access to the images, upload them to your account here as suggested in a previous post.

***Thread Moved to community Support***

When once you get your images unlocked, then as vigge said upload all your images to a folder called "images" under public_html folder, then change paths to the following code

Never mind I dont know how to do it and staff dont have access? How do they control there hosting? O well I quit x10hosting cya i'll switch to hostgator sense im getting my paypal soon.

Lol.... The images are hosted on photobucket and not here at x10. To get your images you better ask "Staff at photobucket" not to "staff at X10" here.

We dont own,run and control photobucket servers.

@runeps - looking through your other posts in other threads, it looks like you have asked a lot of questions, & always got excellent support here ever since you first joined. All of it for free.

x10 also have Paid servers which you could use. But as soon as you have money to spend, you now talk about going elsewhere to spend it.

Well, I hope you are happy at your new hosts, & I hope you aren't too disappointed when you discover that

1) their Paid service isn't as good as the Free service you found here, and

2) when you discover that they aren't prepared to build your site for you, or access your Photobucket.com account for you, either!

Don't disagree with this guy runeps.... he is the guy that told the admin that I flamed him because I disagreed with him and the admin gave me an infraction because of that.

Now after reading this trend, I can see that he is flaming all of us.....

Should the admins give him an infraction?
