we've got a package that includes tv, phone and internet, and the total is like $200, but that's with unlimited calling, an hd dvr, an hd box and 3 other std boxes, hbo, cinemax, shotime, starz, etc... and the other channels, then the internet is 20MB dl and 2MB up. the upload speed actually tops at 3mb for about 5 seconds, then goes down to 2mb

I'm paying absolutely nothing. Though if I want more speed, I'll probably have to pony up for something.

That 1GB limit has to be a bugger considering how fast the line is. It wouldn't take very long to shoot over a gigabyte of usage at that speed anyways. A 1GB cap should be on a 100 kilobit connection, not on a 2 Megabit connection...

1.5/384 uncapped for USD 29.95/mo.

For the amount I'm paying, I should be getting double the speed (3 Mbps / 768). But alas, I live in an area with the distance limitations inherent to ADSL kicks in.

I hear that Verizon is raising the minimum speed for their cheapest plan, which would match what I'm already getting right now. Time to call Verizon and start b*tching.
