There should be something at the top that shows you what step you are on in the sign up process. After it tells you that your email is unavailable to use, just click on the next step at the top.
Where did you get that address? I just logged into my account panel and all it says under server status is "coming soon!" And there's no clickable link.

After changing that, you could either change the main domain to it in your account panel, or put it under parked domains/addon domains in your cpanel.
You are only allowed to have one free hosting account. As soon as an administrator sees this thread, they will tell you your options to resolve this problem.

There have been several threads recently about this problem. When an administrator sees this support thread, there may be an offer of deleting your account and then recreating it. So far, that has appeared to work for everyone that had this problem.
