Do you think everybody should get a static ip?

Surprised you have had an IP for that long, though I do recall some older Bellsouth areas pretty much came with Static IPs. I myself use Verizon, and I used to be able to hold IPs for months at a time. Seems like now we're getting so many power glitches and outages, the Remote DSLAM I'm fed out...

    Loading time for my website.

Site took no time at all to load up. Just as fast as Google comes up.

    Loadig time

Site took literally no time at all (half second) to fully load on my end. Keep in mind I am on a fast connection with Ethernet connectivity to my network. I'm also using pipe-lining in my browser to send some odd amount of requests to the server at once, making sites load up faster than...

    x10Hosting Premium PreSale Question

On x10Premium, everything is considered unmetered/unlimited. As for option 4, that won't appear on Shared Hosting from what I know. You would need a VPS or a Dedicated Server for something like that.

    New Site Builder

We no longer use that system. That existed from 2008 and past. Everyone is on PHPv2 now. As far as I know, you should already be on it unless there is something up with the new server you're running on.

    Joomla and xammp

Make sure a firewall isn't blocking port 2083 or HTTPS traffic, since that is required in order to use cPanel.

What do you think of Mozilla's new rapid release cycle for Firefox?

Download the Mozilla Add-on Compatibility Reporting extension. It actually disables the check and allows you to mark it as "Still working" or "Broken" for others to know about. Since I frequently run a beta/nightly version of Firefox, it comes in handy.

    GeForce GT440 or Radeon HD5570

There isn't too much of a comparison. If you're looking for raw power and gaming performance, the 5770 wins hands down in every department. If you're looking for newer OpenGL support, less space usage and lower power usage (half of the 5770), as well as 3D support the NVIDIA will work just fine.

    Ninite - Bulk Installer

I've heard of this tool before in the past, but I have yet to use it still. It does sound like something that would come in handy for those constantly reformatting their machine, though! Since it already supports Linux, it could probably be ported to suit Macs rather quickly, though what would...

What do you think of Mozilla's new rapid release cycle for Firefox?

I don't have a problem with it, though I am wondering why they aren't simply calling newer builds of Firefox, which mostly seem to involve just changes to the under the hood functionality of the browser, another sub-version of a version of Firefox; eg Firefox 4.5. I like the changes they're...

Do you think everybody should get a static ip?

I certainly wouldn't mind having a Static IP address. I used to hold IP addresses from Verizon for months at a time. FiOS users I know seem to have Static IPs since it takes a few hours for their IPs to release, unlike DSL users such as I who can get a new IP just by disconnecting and...

    Please delete my account.

This normally isn't the place where deletion requests take place. That cPanel username isn't valid since it is too long in length.

There is nothing super special about CuteFTP Pro. I own a licensed copy of it that is from the early 2000.

PC Starts but nothing on monitor?

So basically, your PC makes a brief single beep when it starts up to indicate it has performed POST successfully? If you're not even getting that or another beep code, if you don't have a POST Status Indicator found on your PC, your problem could be either a bad motherboard, bad power supply...

    Which processor is better?

You'll be able to run a bit more with the Quad Core CPU for obvious reasons. The higher clock dual core is useful if you are running a game heavy on Physics, for example (Garry's Mod), but it won't help much if you're looking to run a few apps on it; a Quad will handle better despite the lower...

Mediawiki - Unable to determine IP

A test installation (manual) of MediaWiki on my test account shows no issues with MediaWiki not being able to determine IP addresses. I made an Admin account and edited one page, and I see my IP listed twice in the Database when I search for it. I also saw no errors visiting the Wiki regarding...
