Been with x10 for a few years now and have rode out the stormy times with them. They are doing fine. They have had to deal with all sorts of problems and all sorts of people :) But they are still here aren't they? If x10 is really that lousy, do you think people will still be on this forums...

there's no ONE best system. It all depends on how you want the site to work. Wordpress would be one of the better choices for blog based website while Joomla is great if you have many sections but I'd still suggest DRUPAL if you are past the novice stage.

There's also Googleanalytics. There are many tools on it. Am still learning the ropes but the default tools have wowed me. It tells us how many visitors, from where, and how they came to the site and how long they stayed and what pages they visited for how many times and how many were unique...

Well if you want your blog to be searchable on google and feature prominently then use WordPress. I'm in full support for Drupal but if you only need a blog. Get a friendly, powerful and google searchable one - like Wordpress.org
